We are delighted to let you know that from April to October when renting either the Coach House or Garden Suite you have the opportunity to reserve an exclusive hour, daily in our indoor heated pool and have the opportunity of reserving a table for dinner in the dining room of the main house or lunch in the garden conservatory during your stay.

Year round we offer you our tennis court, croquet lawn and Gym complimentarily. You have private use of the Orchard washing line and access to seven acres of heritage gardens. There is a barbeque which you may borrow if you wish to reserve the sun terrace in the walled garden to cook dinner ‘al fresco’.

If you wish your dog to stay with you, please request this. We accept small non shedding dogs. Dog box essential. Cost per dog per stay is €25.00, up to 2 dogs per house.

The Restored Coach House accommodates up to 9 guests.

The house contains a mix of exciting and unusual features.The ground floor contains a large Drawing room/Kitchen with a wonderfully high vaulted ceiling housing the Minstrel’s Gallery. It has a modern kitchen which is equipped to the highest standards with electric cooker, microwave, dishwasher, fridge/freezer, washing machine and tumble dryer. The Coach House has a colour TV, Video and a CD music system, oil-fired central heating and an open fire place.Upstairs there are two large bed-rooms, the ‘Orchard’ room with a double & two single beds and en-suite bath & shower room and ‘the Tulip Suite’ a large master bedroom with a king-size double bed and en-suite bath & shower room. A set of double doors leads you into a triple bedroom looking out over the walled gardens. Utilities are not included in the price, but are charged at cost.

The Garden Suite, converted from the original Granary offers 4 guests an attractive first-floor  self catering apartment with views of the Italianette Garden through a large rose window.

This two bedroom apartment has also been finished to a high standard. Many of the original features, including crafted stone work, have been retained. The apartment has a large Kitchen/Dining, Drawing room with a high beamed ceiling. The kitchen is modern, equipped to the highest standaeds with electric cooker, microwave, dishwasher and fridge/freezer. The drawing room has a colour TV and CD music system and comfy sofas to curl up in! Two individually styled bedrooms with bath and shower ensuite offer attractive views of the Walled Gardens at Kilmokea. The ‘Iris’ master bedroom has a bay window looking out over the Iris and Rose quarter garden. The ‘Clemitis’ twin room looks out towards the ‘Peacock Topiary’ at the top of the main drive.

We have a 4 night minimum on our rentals and our Coach House prices start  from €920.00. The Garden Suite rental starts from €540.00

You may request for Small, non shed dogs to stay in the ‘Coach House’ or ‘Garden Suite’ @€25.00 per dog per stay. Maximum 2 small dogs. Dog box essential.
