Food & Drink
Breakfast: is served in our large conservatory overlooking the
walled gardes. Fresh fruit salad, organic yoghurt, hot breads and freshly
pressed fruit juices adorn the table.
Dinner:
Dinner is served in the main dining room from 7pm. A table d'hote menu is
served with mouth watering delights cooked by our resident chef.
The Pink Tea Cup Cafe in the Conservatory serves lunch from 12 noon.
We also cater for parties of up to 50 guests in a private dining room.
The Georgian Tea Rooms are open from 10am to 5pm daily from March to
November.
The conservatory enjoys views over the walled garden and on
to the River Barrow beyond.
It is a light spacious room, well ventilated in
the summer and heated in the winter.
Visitors to the gardens have the
opportunity to purchase home made fare, jam, marmalade and bread as well as
Irish Pottery, Arts & Crafts.
A selection of home baked cakes, scones and tarts are served all day.
Kilmokea serves delicious freshly brewed 'westminster' coffee and any
herbal
tea you fancy from early in the day until late in the afternoon.
Light lunches are served from 12 noon to 3pm.
The following organic
delights
have become a favorite of many regular garden visitors:
Home made soups of Mushroom & parsley, Courgette & brie, Carrot & mint or Mediterranean roast tomato served with Kilmokea yummy home baked brown bread filled with cranberries, herbs, sundried tomatoes or cheese.
Red,
rose and white wine is served by the glass and by the bottle!
Weddings at Kilmokea We specialise in hosting small weddings and
private parties.
